FAQs
When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by July 1st, 2026.
Do I need a visa to enter Lebanon?
Most visitors can get a visa upon arrival at Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY), but it’s always a good idea to confirm the latest entry requirements in advance. It's handled right at the passport line, so there's no separate visa line to worry about! You can check the official guidelines below.
What’s the currency in Lebanon and can I use my credit card?
The official currency in Lebanon is the Lebanese pound (LBP). In practice, US dollars are also widely accepted, especially in hotels, restaurants, and shops. Credit cards are widely accepted too, but we recommend bringing some USD in cash with you.
What’s the best way to get around and arrange transportation (including airport pickup)?
You’ve got a few options!
The easiest option is to book a ride a few days before your trip through @Orderx.lb on WhatsApp. Their phone number is +961-71-426191.
Pre-booking is required, so we recommend scheduling your airport pickup before you travel to Lebanon. Rides from the airport to Beirut are usually around $15–$20 USD, and they’ll confirm the total price with you when you book. Just make sure to bring cash, as that's the only payment accepted!
You can also grab a taxi right outside the airport when you arrive. Just tell the driver your destination and confirm the price before you go.
From Beirut to Kfour, rides are typically around $30–$40 USD.
Allo Taxi is another great app and you can pay by cash or card.
You can also use Uber, but just a heads up: sometimes after a driver is assigned, they may message you in the app to adjust the price, since the GPS doesn't always account for real-time traffic.
Also, asking your hotel reception to arrange a taxi for you is a great and easy option. Just remember that most transportation is cash only!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Yes! Take a look at our Accommodations page to see the hotels we’ve listed.
We also recommend staying near Kfour the night before and the night of the wedding, so you won’t have to worry about a long drive to and from the venue.
If you prefer to stay in Beirut, just keep in mind that traffic can make the drive to Kfour about an hour, though the drive back at night should be quick at about 35 minutes with no traffic!
How can I get a SIM card or mobile data while in Lebanon?
You can get either a physical SIM card or an eSIM from Alfa Telecom or Touch Lebanon (the two main providers).
We highly recommend picking up a Lebanese SIM as soon as you land. There's an actual Alfa store in the arrivals hall where they'll set everything up for you, just bring your passport. If the Alfa store happens to be closed when you arrive, there's another shop/supermarket in the airport that also sells SIM cards and can help you get set up. You'll also find phone shops around the city if needed.
If you’d rather set things up before you travel, you can use an eSIM app like Airalo.
You can also rent or buy a small portable Wi-Fi box that you carry with you and connect multiple devices to. You can ask about this at the airport.
Note: Airalo (and other eSIMs) will only work if your phone is unlocked.
Is there a dress code?
The dress code is black tie (or suit and tie)—tuxedos or suits with bow ties or ties, and floor-length or cocktail dresses.
